Mooring Service

The service area for moorings is Winthrop Harbor, Boston Harbor, and the north shore up to Nahant. 

 

The rate for annual service and inspection is $245. That includes the storage of Mooring Ball, Pennants, and pickup buoy.  Annual service includes removing the mooring ball and placing a winter stick in its place in the fall, and reinstallation of the mooring ball, pennants, and pickup buoy in the Spring. On an annual basis, the top chain is hauled and inspected to the middle connection. Every 3 years the mooring is hauled up "all the way" and the bottom chain, as well as the mooring itself (block or mushroom), is inspected.
